Our Story
In the beginning...
Katherine Shirley started Sittin' Pretty Mobile Pet Salon in 1991. She attended Maryland School of Dog Grooming and received her acknowledgment as a certified master dog groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America. Her love of animals is evident in not only her work but in her life. Through her compassion and hard work she built Sittin Pretty from the "wheels up" in this case.

Justin Stowe and Sarah Shirley will be taking care of your pet in the beauty department. They also manage Sittin' Pretty, so feel free to direct your compliments and comments to them. Justin and Sarah both are registered dog groomers with the National Dog Groomers Association of America with over 10 years experience in the ways of care for you and your pet. When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your pets can demand. That is where Brian Edwards comes in! Brian has been part of the Sittin Pretty family for three years, taking each of those days bonding with the pets of Stafford. When it comes to our Doggie Daycare, this is not just our guy but yours too! He is an advocate for your pets, always ensuring their happiness and safety. With years of satisfied owners and loved companions, you can rely on us to care for your four-legged family when you're away or just at work.
